    i use to do skull crushers last and as i got stronger it put too much

      more if I stop before locking out and go back down. Also it’s better for
      your elbows.

      i dont lock out but when you’re using 80 lbs dumbbells your elbow dont like
      it that much

      +Yeah Buddy No need to go that heavy in an isolation exercise. Just work
      your negatives and you will go to failure with a lighter load and it will
      be easier on your elbows. You can also pre-fatigue with something like cgbp
      and dips. Skullcrushers isn’t exactly a compound movement where you need to
      go super heavy like deadlifts or squats. Going too heavy will just result
      in bad form and you will use other muscles or momentum to get the weight
      up. What I learned were leaving your ego at the door and focus on perfect
      form with mind muscle connection actually made me grow much faster than
      being that guy that try to put on the heaviest weight on every exercise.

      I recommend ‘practicing using your triceps’ in everyday life. Be aware of
      them while you are cycling, for instance. And flex/squeeze them AS HARD AS
      YOU CAN once a day for a few ‘sets’ with 10 seconds rest or so. Be mindful
      of this possibly compromising your triceps performance if you’re gonna
      train them the day after. Also do this at the end of your tricep workout or
      even in between sets so that you will get even more blood in them to
      enhance the MMC. Understand that you can flex the WHOLE muscle hardest in a
      kickback-type arm position and that the long head can also extend the
      shoulder in addition to extending the elbow (flex that too)!! Then after a
      little while you may notice that your MMC has improved. Then you can try
      some accentuated eccentric exercises: during triceps exercises with a rope
      for example, have a training partner PULL on the cable during the eccentric
      portion of each rep (aim for 3-5 second eccentrics) to increase the
      eccentric load quite a lot. Have him pull so much that you fail controlling
      the eccentric movement for 3-5 sec of the very last rep of at least the
      last set. Strive for full ROM, as always. Do it only for 1 exercise per
      workout I’d say, and get a little pump first for the MMC. It’s the same
      concept as Arnold’s Cheat Curls. I guarantee results!! Let me know!

      then you keep doing it until you can get more than 8 reps. once you can get
      to like 15, start out with small weight like 5 pounds, then just keep going
      up in weight as the weight you used before gets easier.

    Athlean said to do that swinging skull crusher. i never did them like that
    and then heard him say to do it. i have shoulder problems and that swinging
    motion can hurt them sometime so i never did them and never recommended
    them to anyone else.
