Beginners should start with 2 sets for each exercise
3 sets of dips
4 sets of decline skullcrushers
3 sets of one dumbbell overhead tricep extension
3 sets of v-bar cable pushdowns
3 sets of rope pushdowns
3 sets of straight bar pushdowns

      A set = a quantity of reps.
      A rep = one completed motion of whatever workout you are doing.
      So in your case, for example:

      You would do 3 curls, then rest, then another 3 curls.
