Finally a video that has given me good tips, especially since I am a woman.
I’ve watched lots of videos but still couldn’t do it right. Your video
helped me out a lot. Thank you Chrissy

+Chrissy Zmijewski As a man the part about wide and close grips and moving
"pulling elbows" really helped me target my lats.
Bodybuilding.com sucked at explaining it but i understood exactly how to
target my muscle and WHY from the way you explained it.

hey Chrissy, just 1 question: when u said retract the scapula (shoulder
blades pinched together right ?), u mean retract just a little, because if
i try to keep them retracted during the whole time i am doing the exercise,
it’s gonna pretty much hurt me. Can u plz explain ?

    • Chrissy Zmijewski / November 7, 2014

+futurealasd You will release the scapula each time and then re-engage the
muscles, pinching the scapula together with each rep

This is why women should not be afraid to lift weight

I was doing exactly what she showed in the gym today, same proper form and
was called out by one of the gym trainers as having extremely bad form….

I’ve seen/read in some places that the back should be parallel to the
ground, and in others (like here) that the back is 45 degrees. Anybody know
if there is an advantage of one over the other?

    • BallBoy69 / October 6, 2015

+scarletandsheba1 being at 45 degrees will target the traps more, going
further down will target the lats more.

    • scarletandsheba1 / October 9, 2015

      +BallBoy69 I see, thanks!
