    He is doing power squats.

She’s really not doing a deadlift. The bar is supposed to touch and rest on
the floor before lifting back up. Hence the term “dead”lift, you’re lifting
    dead weight.

+NaturalChik Aha, I see, i really did not know that. Thanks for the
edumacation. I guess the uploader is not such an expert after all 🙂

    • NaturalChik / November 29, 2014

+TallSilentGuy Well that’s not true for this one sir.

    • ginger / December 1, 2014

+TallSilentGuy No, I did mean weights on the bar but understood the
      explanation offered by +NaturalChik

*For the Bruising Bleeding and Cuts Scrapes or Whatever, May I suggest that
you use an alternative for that on the ‘SHINS’ they should cover up so that
while everything is locked and tightend up nice and firm in posture and
movement you don’t drag that barbell back up to the start position so that
you get harmed or severly injuries**

My trainer taught me to do dead lifts by simply pulling my hips back, chest
up, bar bell down, but without this squat she’s doing. Now I’m confused…

    • Jeremy Johnson / July 14, 2014

Sounds like your trainer had you doing stiff legged deadlifts…

  9. Jimbo / July 9, 2014

Aren’t these rack pulls, not deadlifts?

    sexy though

Oh my god! Sorry to say, but this is neither a proper deadlift nor a
Romania deadlift. It is poor form and could lead to injury! It is very
unfortunate that this woman does not have a solid grasp on what she is
teaching. If you really wanna learn, check out the book STARTING STRENGTH
by Mark Rippetoe. Or check out any youtube video with with Rippetoe
teaching deadlift form. He’s a former power lifter and knows his stuff.

Never have i seen a dead lift performed like this in all my years
training….I would not recommend reenacting this as a Dead lift form.

  15. jim jones / June 7, 2015

    • Kyle Blank / August 16, 2015

+jim jones No, I was just making a point that not all PTs are bad or
      know-nothings.

    • Zonekiller24 / September 25, 2015

+jim jones It’s a female, what are you expecting?

    • S / October 28, 2015

+Zonekiller24 Your mom is a female! Oh ho ho! Sorry, I had to. Your comment
      was incredibly stupid.

    • Zonekiller24 / October 28, 2015

      +Sarah S. And…? I stand by my comment.

    • sweetepi18 / June 3, 2016

her being a woman has nothing to do with it. i know plenty of men who do it
incorrectly so that was an idiotic comment.

HA HA HA HA “If you got lacerations, bruises, bleeding; you’ve done the
deadlift perfect.” Nice! It’s great to see and hear someone emphasize the
importance of posture. As a fellow trainer I see so many people (some are
    “trainers”) who glaze over it.
