    Lots of comments against this exercises. I’ve seen a variation of sorts
    where you hold a plate to your chest with your arms kriskrossed and make
    the same hinge motion. Would that strengthen the same things without the
    risk?

    I came here after reading that this is the exercise that crippled bruce lee
    for the remainder of his life and really limited his martial arts and
    ability :PI came here wanting to see what to avoid haha, not gonna do this
    exercise ever if it cripples a god! lol
