Im usually doing this exercise with the ez-curl bar and some weight and it
really burns your forearms at the top of the movement.

    • ScottHermanFitness / May 24, 2014

Yeah I used to always use the Ez Curl bar too. But to be honest I feel it
      more with the straight bar

wow what a nice body you developed. since i last saw you 3 years ago. i
wanted to get muscular so i subscribe to your channel but i lifted weight
for 10 years and never got muscular and discouraged that i saw others get
beautiful muscle and not me i gave up altogether oh well……..good job
    though

Does the preacher curl build more mass then this exercise?

  9. QuantumBraced / March 13, 2015

While this works the biceps, it’s primarily a forearm exercise. If you’re
looking to isolate the biceps, this is not ideal. You won’t be able to lift
as much. If you want to hit your forearm extensors, it’s amazing.

Hey Scott! Ever thought of starting up a supplement brand? :)

I included these in my daily workout routine along with 20 squats, 10 bicep
curls, and an hour on the treadmill(first 15 mins inclined). In the last 5
days I lost about 3.4 pounds but my arms are the same. That’s great for me
because my arms and legs usually slim down first. By any chance would my
arms slim down in the future or would they stay this size? I’d like to lose
    2-3 inches by February.

question, is it more effective to do dumbbell reverse curls or with the
    bar?

  13. Jose Ocasio / August 15, 2015

    hi scott:
this is one of my favorite forearms exercises
i like to use it at the end of my biceps workout!
oh! and by the way i like all of your videos!
    thank you!
    your friend,
    josian.

  14. Markus Marchase / September 8, 2015

Hi Scott, I’m noticing I’m getting some back pain while doing the workout.
Is it normal? Am I doing it wrong? Is it part of the workout?
