Your form is perfect on this exercise. I only have one very minor quibble.
Skullcrusher is that worthless exercise where people lower the weight only
as far as their forehead and never move the shoulder joint from it’s locked
position. (That’s why it’s called a skullcrusher; because the weight goes
to your forehead.) What you’re doing is called a Lying Triceps Extension.

But as I said, that’s only a minor point. There are a few videos in which
the personal trainer actually does skullcrushers and calls them LTEs. The
important factor is that you’re demonstrating the much better exercise and
your technique is flawless, regardless of what it’s called.

I agree: his technique is very good. I would have liked him mention the
importance of keeping his hips on the bench. Some seriously big body
builders with massive core strength can occasionally be seen lifting their
hips completely off the bench, using only their shoulders as a pivot for
the huge weights they’re training with; impressionable people often get the
wrong impression from them of how to do the exercise.

Well if that is so, it should really crush the skull..but no one crushes it

You wanna know the secret to getting a Ferrari or Lambo like this? Drop
    outta college

    • Dragon377 / July 11, 2015

+Dolo The Dreamer you stupid guy. Different people will watch different
ads. There is no point in commenting something related to the ads rather
than the video itself. Go get a life bro

    • Amid Constant / July 13, 2015

+Dolo The Dreamer i totally understand what you mean man. loool i have an
ad blocker so i don’t see it anymore.

    • Josh Howell / September 22, 2015

      that.

+adam4231 Twenty years ago if you wanted weight training tuition like this
you had to pay for it, it was very expensive. Now we have guys like Scott
posting these great videos on youtube. I don’t take the piss about him not
wearing a shirt, I simply say thank you.

  4. Dark_Matter / September 29, 2015

    • Aaron Thompson / December 16, 2015

      +Dark_Matter looool

    • CreatineJunk / December 18, 2015

Damn u too jelly boy, calves are like 99% genetic if the head starts too
high. It will still look kinda small if u train it. The old bodybuilding
era used implants to hide dit.

    • CreatineJunk / December 18, 2015

      Completely healed

    • TheHeatShack / June 13, 2016

+carsisdeus do you have popping in your lower tricep / elbow when lowering
      weight?

  9. Blayer PointduJour / February 3, 2016

How do I get veins in my neck like this guy?

  10. Chris Keegan / February 12, 2016

I think this is a good exercise but I bring the bar to my forehead or even
the brow of my nose, it forces you to correct your elbow positioning and it
works. I’ve had people tell me I’m wrong, I’ve even had people point and
laugh but I feel it in the triceps nicely and my triceps looks decent

    • Ivan Rivera / February 20, 2016

hey bro, I agree with u. how u mentioned of how u do ur triceps is how I do
      it to and works great.

  11. Giggity Goo / March 2, 2016

Does it matter if I’m doing this workout on the floor no bench…

    • stanley oleyte / March 7, 2016

U need a bench or a good flat area with a ledge and a person to hold your
      feet

    • Giggity Goo / March 7, 2016

      +stanley oleyte I don’t though…

    • stanley oleyte / March 7, 2016

hmm you can sit in a chair and do it vertically for now

  18. demonxtremelife / July 3, 2016

    More legs my friend!

  19. Ali Abbasi / July 12, 2016

Skull crushers are a more advanced exercise not suitable for those entering
fitness at a beginner/intermediate stage. Some issues include tendonitis so
if you are focusing on strengthening biceps and delts there are other much
    more proficient and safe exercises.

  20. Angel F. / July 23, 2016

    it’s so HARRRD. HAALLP!
