Looks pretty neat, would be great for beginners.

    • ChrisStaFitness / September 24, 2014

yeah definitely someone just getting in to fitness, or even someone who
knows what there doing, 25kg or 56pounds per dumbbell is still a decent
      amount of weight

  2. OUFITNESS / September 24, 2014

    looks legit

  3. Franklim Lifts / September 24, 2014

    Looks interesting! Strong review man

    • ChrisStaFitness / September 24, 2014

Yer there great, thanks a lot

  4. Nick Goodson / September 24, 2014

When you load to 25kg, aren’t they quite wide for floor chest pressing?

    • ChrisStaFitness / September 24, 2014

Not really, tomorrow I am uploading my chest and tricep workout, I use them
for incline in that, check it out

  5. John Miller / October 26, 2014

good review on these Chris. does your Mrs use these as well? mine is always
getting on at my because i have fat grip dumbbell handles and she cant hold

    • Shawn Strong / October 26, 2014

Very Nice. Very convenient and space saver.

    • ChrisStaFitness / October 27, 2014

yes shes used them a few times, she loves how easy she can change the
weight. they are so much better than having fixed weight dumbbells, a lot
      less space to take up

  6. Maff Mace / November 19, 2014

nice one, cheers, was thinking about joining a gym, but these and a small
    bench will do me well

  7. chaomac / December 26, 2014

    Ah man sweet
    Great idea for drop sets!!
Can you tell me all the different weight combinations you can do as looks
like there is a massive jump from 7.5kg to 12.5kg?

    • ChrisStaFitness / December 27, 2014

The weight goes up in 2.5kg plates, so you can make

They just arent in order on the dial thats all

  8. SpeedyDoc #DOCARMY (Speedy) / December 29, 2014

These are the cheapest dial dumbell you can get as the Amazon’s cheapest
start at £200! I’ve just got a 20kg dumbell set and seperately got two 5kg
iron discs to use as a starter. I may get these next year if they reduce
further in price, cheers for the review.

    • ChrisStaFitness / December 29, 2014

Yeah there cheap and really good quality, definitely recomend them if you
      workout at home

  9. Josef Salvat / March 24, 2015

New research shows that lifting weights is, in many ways, better than
traditional cardio for fat loss, performance, and even overall health. If
you really want to see the best results possible, you don’t just need to
‘lift weights.’ You need to lift weights faster. Traditional aerobic
exercise burns a calorie, it’s good for your heart, and many people enjoy
it. But it doesn’t build an appreciable amount of muscle — a major
component in long-term fat loss. You may get more info.. here>>> (

    nice review

  11. DaleAmigaman / July 28, 2015

Excellent review. You sold them to me 🙂 I’ve just got back home from
collecting a pair of these from our local Argos. I’ve checked them over and
they appear very well made for the money.

    • ChrisStaFitness / July 29, 2015

Glad you like my video, have to let me know how you get on with them

    • DaleAmigaman / July 29, 2015

+ChrisStaFitness Will do. Btw, I notice they are identical in every way
(apart from colour) to the Bodymax Selectabell.

  12. Luke Gammer / July 30, 2015

Saw these after thinking about the Powerblocks… Reserved two and now i
can’t wait! This review has pushed me to these more and more now!

  13. watcha mankambae / September 6, 2015

  14. tony riley / September 6, 2015

Great review everything I wanted to know thanks.

  15. viz10101 / September 6, 2015

so you’ve had these for a year now. have you had any problems with them?

    • ChrisStaFitness / September 8, 2015

Dont work out at home anymore but they are still great

  16. uncomnizm / September 25, 2015

do you think these would rust and sieze up being left outside in UK?

    • ChrisStaFitness / September 25, 2015

Ive left them in a sort of damp garage for over a year and there fine still

    • uncomnizm / September 26, 2015

      +ChrisStaFitness cheers.

  17. Paul / September 26, 2015

Good no nonsense review….. bought a set yesterday 2 for £180 so saved £20
    : )
just out of interest did you get extra plates with yours I have a full
stack on each dumbell then got another box with an extra 8 x 1.25kg plates
can understand getting 2 spare but 8!!!

    • ChrisStaFitness / September 26, 2015

I got no spare aha, can’t complain though

    • Peter Adams / October 26, 2015

+Paul Willingham Inoticed this too you get 2 extra plates seriously
      thinking getting these for xmas

    • pompeymacca28 / November 8, 2015

I just received mine and got the four extra plates too but looking at the
dumbbells I noticed the small weights at either end were missing and that
is what they where. so basically there was 22.5kg in the box and the other
      2.5kg where packaged separately

    • ChrisStaFitness / December 19, 2015

+Adrian Harley tbh i havent used my home gym in a year, but i never had any
      problems with them

  18. Deadlift Kid / December 25, 2015

I have to admit I’ve always been sceptical about these adjustable dumbells
on the market I use hex dB’s myself purely cos these don’t go any heavier
than 25kg or do they? and good review I have to say but do they ever rattle
loosely ? so purely for the max weight issue is making me stick to old
school hex dB’s but the space would be great could get more kit lol

  19. Peter Adams / December 27, 2015

Hi Christafitness Just bought a pair of these at 149 quid in the sale
